I'm considering moving just so
Green Aisle can be neighborhood grocery. Last night's tasting event allowed me to hang with Andrew and each of the customers he greets by name. I felt transported to a time I've only read about in nostalgic novels, where you go to the corner store and find out what's new in produce and proteins and pick up enough to last for the next few meals. Its not the wealthiest of neighborhoods, yet these shoppers make it a priority to buy the best and local. Walking into Green Aisle and starting a conversation with "Did the bacon come?" followed with "Just moved into the new apartment I told you about" is par for the course. To those living in South Philly, you are lucky!
As for the tasting event, Green Aisle's customers loved the nut butters! Granted the conversation started with, if Green Aisle carries it, it must be good...
Nutty Chocolate Chip was the favorite of the night with many people admitting it was better than Nutella. That's a huge compliment for us! The first ingredient in Nutella is sugar so its easy for the taste buds to respond favorably. Our first ingredient is peanuts, and the second is pumpkin so its little harder to develop a dark chocolate flavor.
We're really excited to be on the shelves of Green Aisle! Please stop by this great store to try some Better Butter and other local goodies.
